David Abrams teaches The Joy of Electronics (ENG-SCI 52) at Harvard College and Laboratory Electronics (PHYSICS 123) at Harvard Summer School. He also teaches Legal Problem Solving at Suffolk Law School. He received his engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. David initially designed analog and digital electronic instrumentation used in medicine, education and chemical analysis before co-founding Galactic Industries Corp., a software company that brought analytical data processing to personal computing. After the sale ofGalactic to a division of Thermo Electron, David eared his law degree and practiced law first as an Intellectual Property Associate at WilmerHale, then as a law clerk for the Honorable Rya Zobel. He returned to Harvard Law School to help establish the first-year Problem Solving Workshop while a fellow at Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet & Society. His current interests include circuit design and the clash between law and technology.
