Getting Traction in Pre-Health: Finding a Lab That Fits

Excited to  find a lab to do term time or summer research? Curious about what it means to “do research?” Come to this workshop at OCS to hear from Dr. Margaret Lynch, Associate Director of Science Education, and Dr. Cammi Valdez, Assistant Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (URAF), to learn about how to find a lab, important questions to ask, different ways to fit this in your schedule, and how to find funding.

OCS Premed and Pre-Health advisers, OCS Peer Pre-health Liaison Peer Advising Fellows, and upperclassmen will be on hand to answer questions and help you think about your plans.

This workshop is geared towards freshmen and sophomores, but all undergraduates are welcome.
