Free Will: What Can Physiology Explain?

The MGH Center for Law, Brain & Behavior and the Boston Society for Neurology and Psychiatry will co-sponsor an event exploring how human motor control informs our understanding of free will .  Mark Hallett, MD, Senior Investigator in the Human Motor Control Division at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, will present his research on the physiology of human voluntary movement and its pathophysiology in disordered voluntary movement and involuntary movement.
