Neurobio Jterm Program
“Short Course on Electrophysiology: Techniques to Study the Brain”
Wintersession Program Weds., Jan 21 & Thurs., Jan 22, 2015
This course is an intensive primer on the tools and techniques used in electrophysiology, the study of the electrical activity of the brain. The course will focusing particularly on extracellular neuronal recording. We will review how the techniques work, what sort of questions can be addressed, and what kind of data we can collect. The course will include a half-day hands-on component where students can put the techniques into practice.
